[wowOwow | The Women on the Web] Did you even know anything about Iraq before we invaded it or did your info only come after  the Bush admin scared us all into thinking we had to go to war??  There are a lot of countries around the world that are run by horrible people and we don’t invade them all do we??  Boy, you folks sure are brain washed through and through by the good old Bush doctrine…if he had said you all had to jump off a cliff you would all have gladly done so.  The war with Germany was a legitimate one and the one with Iraq was not there is a world of difference, those women in Iraq would not have half as many husbands lost if we had not invaded that country.

[Dprogram.net] Film: Uncovered - The Whole Truth about the Iraq war « Dprogram.net: The War on Iraq, filmmaker Robert Greenwald chronicles the Bush Administration’s determined quest to invade Iraq following the events of September 11, 2001. The film deconstructs the administration’s case for war through interviews with U.S intelligence and defense officials, foreign service experts, and U.N.

[Daily Advance - News] Jones: Truth needed on Iraq - News | DailyAdvance.com: Walter Jones believes Americans still haven’t gotten the truth about why the Bush administration invaded Iraq. That’s why he’s co-sponsoring legislation establishing a commission to investigate a broad scope of Bush policies, including those that led the United States into the unpopular war in 2003.

[AlterNet.org] Who Will Rein in the War in Afghanistan? | War on Iraq | AlterNet: The Pathan have successfully fought off conquest by invading armies for over 2,000 years while retaining their distinct cultural identity. We will be no more successful than the Russians, the British before them, the Mongols before them or the army of Alexander before them unless we start to think outside the box.

[Stephen M. Walt] What's wrong with America? Case in point: Richard Perle | Stephen ...: Libby, Paul Wolfowitz, and others, who had been openly calling for regime change in Iraq since the late 1990s and who used their positions in the Bush administration to make the case for war after 9/11, aided by a chorus of sympathetic pundits at places like the American Enterprise Institute, and the Weekly Standard. The neocons were hardly some secret cabal or conspiracy, as they were making their case loudly and in public, and no serious scholar claims that they "bamboozled"

[Atlantic Free Press - Hard Truths for Hard Times] Toothless: The Watchdog Press That Became the Government’s Lapdog ...: During President Bush’s second term, especially after his popularity had begun to sink, several major newspapers, including the New York Times and Washington Post, became more aggressive, publishing several major investigations into the War in Iraq, the government’s use of torture and apparent violation of the Geneva Accords, violations of due process, extensive spying upon Americans, the failure to provide combat troops with adequate body armor, the silencing of government scientists who disagreed with Bush-Cheney beliefs and values, the classification of 55,000 documents in the National Archives that had previously been declassified, the use of propaganda to support doctrine, and problems at Guantanamo Bay.

[MotherJones.com] The Iraq Math War | Mother Jones: The same as when Bush I invaded Panama and the US military bulldozed, literally, the poorest neighborhood in Panama City and massacred many people. It was caught on film US soldiers murdering a French journalist who caught them committing murders and still the US "news" media said not one word.

[The Swamp] Bill Ayers: Afghanistan surge 'mistake': The Swamp: The Iraqis never got it together again after Bremmer, Rumsfeld, Bush and Cheney disbanded the Iraqi Army and security forces. Lots of people lied to us.

[Time Has No Time's Blog] No More Chance’s: A Below Average Citizen speaks his mind about ...: All this and we have yet to find Bin Laden.  He kept sending out tapes, kinda like the Beatles did in the late 60’s when they didn’t want to tour anymore.  They were condescending and I hear, somewhat instructional to his people.  Jokes are told now about how can the greatest military in the world not be able to find this six foot four dude with a long beard, white sheet, riding a donkey and hooked up to a dialysis machine.  If you are keeping score, we went from Everyone loves the USA to, hey, USA…you suck.  But Cheney and Rumsfeld just tugged old George along like the jack ass he is and said let’s go to Iraq.  They have weapons of mass destruction.

[ChooseTheHero.com] ChooseTheHero.com » Blog Archive » Preserving liberal psyches: But this is just one of many stories intended to place blame where the press would like it to be.  Unfortunately for the Washington press, their ongoing campaign to discredit the Bush administration is running into obstacles.  For one thing, it’s becoming clearer by the day, that what the press considers the worst foreign policy disaster in recent American history, the invasion of Iraq, has planted the seeds of democracy and they have taken root.  The recent Iraqi election has resulted a resounding victory for secular government, a rejection of Islamic religious rule, and a rejection of control by Iranian sponsored parties.  The establishment of a democratic government in Iraq represents a shift in the balance of power in the Middle East, and it’ has shifted dramatically in favor of the U.S.

[Pakistanpal's Blog] The new oil game « Pakistanpal’s Blog: It is believed that the think tank exercised strong influence on US government officials of President Bush’s administration and affected the administration’s military and foreign policies, especially on the issue of national security and the Iraq war. The show of willingness from Iran in the past to engage in a process of normalisation of relations between the US and Iran should have been reciprocated by the US.

[AfterDowningStreet.org - Bush-Cheney Trials in 09] Bush Administration Crimes and the International Criminal Court ...: Though the Bush administration provided many excuses for its hostility to the ICC, the underlying issue appears to be that it cannot tolerate the possibility that an American could ever be tried before the Court. For example, Bush claimed that the Court’s jurisdiction cannot extend to Americans because that will undermine “the independence and flexibility that America needs to defend our national interests around the world”.

[Don Surber] Don Surber » Blog Archive » Palin was right: He sounds like former President Bush when asked about regrets of invading Iraq which has led to the deaths and maiming of hundred of thousands. No do-overs.
