As for Iraq, 42 percent of voters say that, long term, the mission will be judged a success, with 34 percent believing history will judge it a failure (down from 54 percent in March). At the war's beginning, President Bush said when the Iraqi government and military can stand up, we will stand down.

[Reports published by STWR] Good Morning Mr President: What Europe Wants from Obama - STWR ...: In addition to strengthening the multilateral system of governance, the US has an opportunity to regain the moral leadership and credibility lost over the last eight years by closing Guantanamo Bay, strengthening international law, putting all its weight into resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict as well as the conflicts of Israel and Syria and Lebanon, and exiting Iraq as soon as feasible. A measure of moral leadership, which I am realistic enough not to expect, would be for the US to join the International Criminal Court (ICC).

[NO QUARTER] Show Me McClanahan : NO QUARTER: In his report to the CIA after his Niger trip, Wilson said that in 1999, a former prime minister of that country had been asked to meet with an Iraqi delegation seeking improved “commercial relations.” Since Niger’s only significant export was uranium, CIA analysts concluded the Iraqis were after uranium yellowcake — a reasonable assumption, since Niger had been a source of uranium for Iraq in 1981.

[BlueOregon] BlueOregon: Hillary & Iraq: We urge you to donate the entire amount of funds that you raise here to support the Democratic Party of Oregon or to help those candidates who need all of our support in the battle to win back the House and Senate.
