[CNN Political Ticker] CNN Political Ticker: All politics, all the time Blog Archive ...: Who in King George's or Emperor George's court can be believable after all the fiasco of his eight year reign of terror on his kingdom. The rest of the civilize world stood shock and awe as he brandish his power threatening nation's who didn't agree with his policies of shoot first and ask questions later.
[Beltway Confidential] ABC's Charles Gibson to Cindy Sheehan: Thanks for your sacrifice ...: In an appearance August 18 on WLS radio in Chicago, ABC News anchor Charles Gibson was asked about anti-war protester Cindy Sheehan's plans to travel to Martha's Vineyard next week, where she will protest the Iraq and Afghanistan wars while President Obama is vacationing there. Gibson, whose newscast and network featured Sheehan when she led anti-war protests outside President Bush's Texas ranch in 2005, answered, "Enough already."
[CNN Political Ticker] CNN Political Ticker: All politics, all the time Blog Archive ...: This was after he lied through his teeth about the nonexistent "death panels" and after saying that he wouldn't support a bill he wrote if Republicans in the Senate wouldn't vote for it. Grassley knows that Fox and his underhanded cohorts have created an environment with their lies that make it impossible for any Republican Congressman or Congresswoman to support the bill.
[Web of Evidence: What They Don't Want You To Know] Flashback: Why Does TVNZ Lie To Us About 9/11? « Web of Evidence ...: It is a great irony, that while we get shivers up our spines at the thought of a monopoly of information by the state, as Joseph Goebbels achieved for Hitler, we have the equivalent right now in the form of a monopoly of information by big business for Bush. One of the largest companies in the US, General Electric Co., (GE), which contributed significantly to Bushs election campaign and is one of the top defence contractors, owns NBC, owns the business network CNBC, and has a stake in the cable news channel MSNBC, amongst others. As GE is making huge sums of money from the invasion of Iraq, it is no wonder their journalists disseminate “war on terror” lies. Also, far from being unbiased and fair, the Fox News Channel is aiding right-wing agendas, as Rupert Murdoch, who is a Republican Party supporter, owns it. As the documentary Outfoxed: Rupert Murdochs War of Journalism shows, employees are compelled to push Murdochs point of view, or they face being cast out. And so it goes on, just as it did for the producers fired by CNN for exposing evidence in June 1998, of use of nerve gas by the US forces in the Vietnam War.
[CNN Political Ticker] CNN Political Ticker: All politics, all the time Blog Archive ...: The only thing Conservatives haven't done is call outright for Obama's assassination, but there have been thinly veiled hints in that direction, most notably Glenn Beck's telling O'Reilly yesterday that Obama "is a threat to the Republic." Bottom line is the party of astroturf Tea Parties, secession (read: treason), loony Birthers, Palin, Coulter, Limbaugh, Rove, Delay, Gingrich, and Cheney lost an election and they don't like it. Just imagine how they'd feel if Obama had won the way Bush did in 2000, having lost the popular vote.
[The Swamp] Tom Ridge: 'Security or politics?': The Swamp: In the past I found him to be a man of integrity, yet even he went in front of the UN and said we'd be attacked in 45 minutes if we didn't attack Iraq because Iraq had WMDs, thus began the beginning of the lies for going to war. Powell's reaction to doing something he didn't want to do is resign and not do another term with Bush Jr.
[CNN Political Ticker] CNN Political Ticker: All politics, all the time Blog Archive ...: This man caused the death of over 5,000 soldiers, 100,000 + innocent Iraq civilians, bankrupted this country, started a war based on a lie, committed treason and many other crimes, I hope he writes the book from behind bars. How he lives with himself I cannot fathom. republicans lie, don't care about the middle class or the country, just about getting rich and then want to stomp those like this decent President we currently have just to hold onto power.
[Conservative Dialysis] Another Peek Into The Liberal Mind » Blog Archive » Conservative ...: Sure, I dont like paying taxes and I resent it when I see billions of tax dollars wasted like the Republicans did with the Iraq War. [neo-neocon] neo-neocon » Blog Archive » Obama's hypocrisy: even worse than you ...: It was great fun when Iraq was still controversial to direct the anti-war folks to videos of Hillary, John Edwards and various other Progressives making speeches in times before they decided to be against the war vilifying Saddam, making statements about Saddam obviously nefarious intentions and ranting about how Saddam should be deposed. I did it several times on this blog.
