[Chicken Yoghurt] In or out?: In 2002, Ambassador Joseph Wilson was asked by the Bush administration to investigate "indisputable" claims that Iraq had bought uranium yellowcake from Niger during the 1990s in order to further Saddam's nuclear ambitions. Wilson found that, for obvious reasons, Niger's uranium mining is strictly monitored and there was no way any yellowcake could have been sold to Iraq.

A growing number of lawmakers and military experts are predicting it will be at least two years before Bush can significantly reduce the number of U.S. troops, currently about 140,000.
