Iraq - In The Name of Freedom

http://multigraphic.dk/lounge/wordpress [Keld Bach’s Press Cuttings] Fact is that if the islamofascist terrorists did not keep on killing civilians blowing up police stations the reconstruction would be doing much better and the living conditions of the iraqi civilians would be so much better. All in all the liberation of Iraq and implementation of democrazy is in the interest of the Iraqis - except of cause the baathists who want Saddam back or the islamofascists who want to install a rule like Taliban in Afghanistan.

Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.

Purplecow.comhttp://purplecow.com [Purplecow.com] The Beckman Chronicles: I do think Bush is "unbelievably incompetent" and I think it is insane that our troops are still in Iraq. We've removed Saddam, found no evidence that they could launch an attack against the US, and our troops, who are so loyally defending what their "leader" asks them to, are dying daily.

Talkleft.com[Talkleft.com] TalkLeft: Body Counts: No reliable figures for the number of Iraqi dissidents and Shi'ite Muslims killed during Hussein's reign, though estimates put the figure between 60,000 and 100,000. (Mass graves discovered following the US occupation of Iraq in 2003 suggest that the total combined figure for Kurds, Shi'ites and dissidents killed could be as high as 300,000).

Command-post.orghttp://www.command-post.org [Command-post.org] The Command Post - Iraq - The Ace in the Hole: What we KNOW is that Saddam Hussein is captured, which by any measure is good for Iraq. The long term impact of this remains to be seen.
