Iraq Reviews > In Support of a Resolution of Inquiry

[Where We're Bound] The majority of Congress and the corporate media happily went along for the ride and will continue to ignore and misdirect the public. As far as I'm concerned many of these supporting actors need to be removed of their jobs.

Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.

[Juscuz.blogspot.com] this is class warfare: "The Christian Coalition and other rightwing religious groups supporting Reagan even had a 'biblical checklist' by which they wanted all senators and congressmen to be judged. And one of the items in the 'biblical checklist' was 'support for the Afghan 'freedom fighters.' The rightwing Christians were saying in the 1980s that if you didn't support al-Qaeda and its Mujahidin allies, you didn't deserve to be in Congress!

[Hnn.us] Spencer Blog Archives 5-03: Hesiod pointed out in a post this morning that we support Uzbekistan with millions of taxpayer dollars because they are an ally in the "war on terrah" (they were even part of the coalition of the bribed if you recall) and their leader is an absolute monster. In fact, he has this, ugh, nasty habit of boiling his political opponents alive.

[Weblogs.mozillazine.org] Chris Nelson's Weblog: May 2003 Archives: I've finally updated the blogroll in the left nav, adding the sites that I mentioned a few days ago, and I've also added a link to TestPattern.org (a friend of mine is a contributing editor). Be sure to check it out!

[Casadelogo.typepad.com] Fact-esque, A Reality-Based Blog: Elisabeth Bumiller - NYTimes: Bumiller allows for the fact that his support of the FMA could be considered a cynical ploy to placate the noisy part of his base, she immediately and mysteriously rebuts the idea with a well-reported and off-topic story that tells us how comfortable, charming and sincere BushCo was when "confronted" by a transgender classmate from Yale. It's an old story and is nauseating on its own, but even if it did illustrate some inordinate gesture of tolerance on BushCo's part, instead of simple civility in a very public arena, it does nothing to mitigate BushCo's coldly calculated decision to support the FMA.

[Lafayetteprofiber.com] Lafayette Pro Fiber Blog: September 2004: The decision by EATEL to curtail its marketing of services is directly related to the success of the RBOCs (like BellSouth) in overturning rulings by the FCC and state regulatory commissions which required them to sell access to elements of their phone networks to competitive local exchange carriers. It was those UNE-P rules (which stands for unbundled network element pricing) which enable EATEL and other competing carriers like AT&T, MCI and others to sell discounted phone service to consumers and businesses.
