Iraq Reviews > Daylight Savings: Fall Back
[The News Blog@i66.com] We haven’t seen it in the media anywhere just yet, and we’re thinking that in lieu of all the bad Bush news like Harriet Miers and Scooter Libby along with terrorist activities in Iraq and India, they’ve forgotten to remind us that we have to change our clocks this weekend:
Some related posts from Technorati and Google.
[thedirtysouth] WMD's Coming Home To Roost: I'm sure if you ask around on certain blogs, you can still find people who will say that Saddam moved all his WMD's to Syria just before we invaded Iraq. They'll also say the jury's still out on this whole yellow cake uranium from Niger to Iraq boondoggle.
[Betsyspage.blogspot.com] Betsy's Page: Think of how much more devastated New Orleans was by Katrina and is anyone really surprised that the estimate that FEMA habitually gives stricken areas that it will take at least 72 hours to get federal aid to the victims is true for Floridians as well as those in New Orleans. I admire Governor Bush's frankness in taking responsibility in the delay in getting aid to victims and in reminding people that they should take some responsibility for their own care.
[Thomaspmbarnett.com] Thomas PM Barnett :: Weblog: The reality for me right now is, between the military/gov/intell/foreign govs interactions like this, the speeching, the blogging, the writing for Esquire, plotting Vol. III and that little thing called being Senior Managing Director for Enterra Solutions (and through that a small host of new titles looming at or through Oak Ridge National Lab), I am somewhat tapped as the husband of one, father of four, and house-builder whose trying like crazy to work as many PR opportunities as possible to support BFA (like going on the radio in MN in about 30 minutes).
[Themoderatevoice.com] The Moderate Voice - More Problems For Harriet Miers: But is the White House assuming too much (and we again remind readers "'Assume' makes an 'ass' of 'u' and 'me.'")?
[Corner.nationalreview.com] The Corner on National Review Online: Since it's been Miers' job to provide legal opinion about actionsperformed or considered by the Administration, the president must know verywell where she stands on a multitude of legal questions pertaining to thewar. In other words, the president is not willing to trust anybody's opinionabout a candidate (especially remembering how his father was assured aboutSouter) but rather requires extensive personal knowledge or a proven recordon the only issue that truly matters to him (and if my theory is correct youcan forget about Justice Brown because of her strong libertarian streak).I'm not by any means endorsing such approach (I'm as disappointed and angryas the next guy), but at least a justice willing to give a lot of deferenceto the Administration in the prosecution of war is not very likely to be ajudicial activist in other areas."
[Slate.msn.com] The NYT Miller Revelations - Preposterous speculation got us this ...: Preposterous blog speculation congealed into conventional wisdom that .of White House Counsel Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court remind me of Patty .
