Politics don't ever into it, and the point-of-view is completely and artistically through the very subjective eyes of three American soldiers.

[Downing Street Says] Asked if the Prime Minister would agree with the Defence Secretary who had reportedly said that he would not have supported the Iraq War if he had known that there were no WMDs in Iraq, the PMS said that the Prime Minister had always been very clear on the Iraq situation; he welcomed the fact that there was an inquiry, he welcomed the fact that it was independent but he would not comment on aspects of the inquiry or related matters.

As it seemed the focus even before the invasion of that country took place to get to the guilty band of extremist who carried out 9/11 was on and growing towards Iraq, the President was telling everyone we were going to get bin Laden Dead or Alive but we were going to get him.
