Forget Arkin! Here’s America’s Fighting Man

http://euphoricreality.com [ Euphoric Reality] For that one reason alone, I could not - would not - cover William Arkin’s appalling “military analysis” of the state of mind of our troops. Suffice it to say, that when our troops speak out about their mission in Iraq, Arkin thinks they should shut up and be grateful for what support they can get here in America.

Press Briefing by Stephen Hadley 2/2/07 (Topic: Iraq)

[White House Press Corps.org] Hadley, I want to go back to the term "civil war." The administration has really gone out of its way not to use that term, "civil war," in the same way that Don Rumsfeld wouldn't call it a "guerilla war" when it was, or an "insurgency" when it was. Why do you go out of your way not to use that word?
