Lieberman: Coulter’s Favorite Democrat

Grouchy’s Liberaltopia[Grouchy’s Liberaltopia] Coulter derided the lawmakers who have called for a redeployment strategy from Iraq, questioning whether “FDR [had] to deal with this during World War II.” She argued that the only type of politician she “admires” is someone like Sen. Joseph Lieberman (D-CT) because he “does want to defend America and fight the war on terrorism.” Lieberman has argued “our troops must stay” in Iraq.

hajjinet

Double-Tongued Word Wrester Dictionaryhttp://www.doubletongued.org [Double-Tongued Word Wrester Dictionary] A typical Hajjinet is built and maintained by one or two soldiers and can provide nearly 24-hour internet access (until the region is stabilized and electrical lines can be installed, generators must occasionally be powered down for maintenance). Most Hajjinets are small, serving between 20 and 30 troops, but ISPs serving as many as 300 are known to exist.

The Cut N’ Run Bills

[Flopping Aces] So four Democratic Senators bring up resolutions to cut and run from Iraq, and both failed….surprise surprise. Most people in this land, at least those with some common sense…aka non-leftists…understand the importance of finishing a job once started and not sending 25 million over a cliff.

House and Senate Approve Resolution For GWOT

http://therightstate.com [The Right State] Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky!  I love it.  In a nutshell, this is what the vote was all about: put up or shut up!  But when push came to shove, the Democrats couldn’t take the heat.  Many were scrambling for cover as fast as they could.  To the Democratic Party, what this whole issue is about is talking points to their base.  Their hard left loud fringe base likes to be mollified by leftist politicians.  Its like a school yard kid telling his friends how he is going to punch out another boy.  But when it gets down to crunch time, he is nowhere to be seen.  The Democratic Party does not want their votes counted on this issue.  They just like to talk. They know middle America supports the war and our troops.  By voting against the war, Democrats in red states would lose a lot of votes.
